2003/2004 Post 14 player Nate Freiman visited the old team last week to work out.  On June 9th Nate was drafted as the 3rd pick in the 8th round of the Major League Baseball draft, the 234th pick overall by the San Diego Padres.  Nate is a graduate of Duke University.

It rained most of the day.  Park & Rec doesn't work on Sunday.  Praise the Lord for guys like Mark, (pictured above), legion coaches, and players who arrived at the field early to remove the standing water and manicure the field so we could get our game in.  We also manicured the field after the game and cleaned both dugouts.  We better find them in the same condition as we left them the next time we play there, or else!
